James N. Jones, DMD Doctor of Medical Dentistry- Part Owner

An Ogden native, Dr. Jim Jones has been practicing dentistry since 1999. He graduated from Bonneville High School in Ogden in 1988. He then attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah graduating in 1995. Jim chose to become a dentist for the artistry and after leaving BYU, he attended the University of Louisville's School of Dentistry. He graduated with his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree in 1999.
Since starting his practice, Dr. Jones has continued his dental education and is Invisalign® and Lumineer® certified.

Dr. Jones is a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association and is currently serving as president of Ogden Academy of Dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys spending a lot of time with his wife, Rebecca, and five wonderful children as well as many outdoor activities. Camping, hunting, skiing and mountain biking top his list of favorite activities.
Mark H Redd, DDS Doctor of Dental Surgery - Part Owner

Mark H. Redd, DDS., grew up in Ogden, Utah among wonderful parents, four brothers and one little sister. He married the love of his life, Brooke Shepherd in 2001 and now has 3 amazing little girls.

He graduated with a Major in Zoology, and a minor in Chemistry from Weber State University in 2006. In 2009 h became a Doctor of Dental Surgery after graduating from Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry, where he excelled in restorative and implant dentistry.

His hobbies include fly-fishing, hunting, hiking, golfing, music and sports and of course his family. He is looking forward to practicing dentistry here in Utah and getting to know many new people through his work.
Nicole Office Manager

Nicole is our Office Manager and has been in the Dental industry for 10 years and with Capitol Dental since 2005. She loves interacting and be-friending our patients, without having to look in their mouths. She enjoys running, hiking, golfing and spending time with her husband and 2 wonderful children.
Sarah Hygiene Assistant

Sarah has been with Capitol Dental for 3 years and enjoys her interaction patients over the phone and when they walk through the front door.

During her time away from work she enjoys fishing, camping and hiking with her husband and 2 dogs.
MelanieDental Hygienist

Melanie Grew up in Seattle are and went to hygiene school in Massachusetts and graduated in 2002. Melanie joined Capitol Dental permanently the beginning of of 2011.

She has been married for 7 years and have a sweet and very wild 2 year old named Tripp. She enjoys reading, traveling, running and spending time with her family.
Amy Scheduling Coordinator

Amy has been in the medical/dental field for 12 years and joined Capitol Dental the beginning of 2011. She has been married for 24 years and has two beautiful daughters. She loves kayaking, exercising or any outdoor activity as long as it involves the summer season.
Ruth Dental Assistant

Ruth has recently joined Capitol Dental part time but has been in the dental field for 10 years. She enjoys scrapbooking, boating, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Karen Dental Assistant

Karen is our other full time assistant and has been in the dental field since 1992 and has been with Capitol Dental for 10 years. Karen enjoys sewing, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jamie Dental Assistant

Jamie is one of our full time Dental Assistant. She has been an assistant for 10 years and with Capitol dental since then. In her spare time she enjoys snowskiing, golfing, and exercising.
Leslie Dental Hygienist

Leslie graduated from WSU in 1998 and has worked with Captiol Dental since then. She is married to the man of her dreams and has two fabulous sons and one fantastic daughter-in-law. Leslie enjoys golfing, boating, snowskiing, and spending time with her family.
Kristen Dental Hygienist

Kristen graduated from Weber State University's Dental Hygiene Program in 2007 and has recently joined the Capitol Dental Dental part-time. She's excited to teach patients how to care for their teeth and loves seeing their dental health improve. Kristen loves ice cream, waterskiing, and spending time with her husband and family.
